Noticeboard
Gritting of roads is the responsibility of Norfolk County Council, highways@norfolk.gov.uk . Over the winter months its salting lorries are on standby 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Norfolk County Council cannot grit all of Norfolk's 5,965 mile road network because of the time it would take and the cost. In times of sub-zero temperatures it will try to salt extra routes if it can. There are maps showing priority routes at www.norfolk.gov.uk/gritting .The NCC office for this area is at Gas House Hill, Aylsham 0344 8008009
